TATTOO

CONSULTATION

All tattoo appointments start with a consultation. Whether through email or in person, your artist will discuss your ideas, placement, size, pricing, etc. before confirming an appointment. Most artists require a deposit or a scheduling charge, at the discretion of the artist, to secure the appointment. Each artist also charges for tattooing differently, which they will discuss with you before booking.

APPOINTMENT

On the day of your appointment your artist will check you in with paperwork and go over the procedure with you and show you the design or draw the design directly onto the skin. We are happy to answer any questions you might have about the tattoo or make modifications to the design if needed, although major changes on large designs may constitute a reschedule of the appointment.

TATTOO

Once you are ready and the design is agreed upon, your artist will begin the procedure. Our artists are trained to make sure the tattoo process is comfortable and safe. The shop provides complimentary snacks, waters, and coffee, and our artists are trained in sanitation and cross-contamination prevention to ensure you have the best experience possible.

BANDAGE & AFTERCARE

At the end of your appointment, your artist will apply a bandage as mandated by Alabama Health Code. We offer traditional plastic wrap bandages or breathable derm bandages according to the client’s preference. Your artist will go over the aftercare procedures with you depending on which bandage is applied and give recommendations for aftercare products.

WALK-INS

Apart from appointment tattoos, we also offer walk-in availability for smaller pieces. These are typically palm-sized or smaller, but can be larger on a piece-by-piece basis. We always recommend calling ahead to ensure walk-in availability.

EAR CURATION

WHAT IS EAR CURATION?

Ear curation is a fun and creative way to express your personal style, but if you’re new to the process, you might be wondering where to begin. The good news is, there’s no single right way to approach it—it all depends on your vision and preferences. Below are some helpful tips to guide you through your ear curation journey.

SELECTING JEWELRY

First, consider how you want to select your jewelry. One easy approach is to choose the pieces you love first and then consult with a professional piercer. They can evaluate your ear anatomy and recommend the best placements to highlight your chosen jewelry. This ensures that your piercings not only suit your style but also complement the natural shape of your ear.

EAR MAPPING

During your consultation, the piercer can mark spots on your ear that will work best for your anatomy and overall look. This method allows you to get a clear visual of the best placements before committing to the piercings.

PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE

Discussing your long-term goals with your piercer can help create a cohesive and balanced look. Whether you plan to add more jewelry over time or want a specific style, having a roadmap will ensure that your ear looks its best throughout your curation journey.
